This is my goodbye
Q1 If, and when, you die what kind of service or funeral would you like and why
A church service. I want to follow my beliefs.
Q2 What colours or clothing would you want to be dressed in (or others to be dressed in
For me it doesn’t really matter. Something nice I have in my wardrobe at the time I guess. As for everybody else I would want them to be dressed as they feel comfortable.
Q3 If you close your eyes what do you see right now?
A beautiful clear blue sky

Q4 If you would like to say anything about this project, your last wishes or anything this brings up for you, please add here.
The subject of death is such an important topic and life is such a precious opportunity. I would hope that anyone who is struggling with life at the moment or who has lost someone close will get something from this project. As for my last wishes I hope to be one of the lucky ones who has been able to live their life to the full and that when I pass people will remember me as someone who has added to their life positively.
Q5 How have your feelings or experiences of loss changed over the last 3 years? How might you grace yourself forgiveness for any regrets around death of loved ones and letting go of guilt
I know people who have recently committed suicide and people who have lost loved ones through sickness. Death can cause so much pain to family and friends, especially when we talk about suicide*. There needs to be more support for people who are struggling.
Q6 Any suggestions for others who who might need to arrange your/a funeral or grieving (or both)
When I die I don’t want arranging my funeral to be a burden on anyone.
Q7 Are there any pieces of music comes to mind or you’d like to share
A song that I heard at a funeral recently that was hugely moving was ‘This is our goodbye’ by Clodagh O’Donnell
