‘I love you, goodbye’
1. If and when you die what kind of service or funeral would you like and why?
Wrap me in a lovely shroud and cremate me. A shroud sounds comfy and there really is no point in bothering with a burial. I’m happy to have my ashes scattered in the Thames, or planted in with a nice flower providing the hubby looks after it as he’s good at that sort of thing. Have a little service, the details are in my will, a few words and some music.
2. What colours/clothing would you want to be dressed in and others to be dressed in?
I’d like to be in comfy cotton top and trousers, baggy like pyjamas. In fact pyjamas will do fine!
3. If you close your eyes what do you see right now?
Well that’s a worry, I see absolutely nothing but blackness. Am I dead already?
4. If and when you die what kind of service or funeral would you like and why?
The most important part of the service is gonna be the songs played. I really would like people to have a good ole sing song and bogey to loud music of my choosing. How you’re gonna do that and remain elegantly distressed I don’t know. That’s not my problem, I’ll be dead. You are allowed to cry unconsoulably to “I Love You Goodbye”, but not for long.

4. If you would like to say anything about this project, your last wishes or anything these issues bring up for you, please add something here.
Since the last time I did this I have learnt about brain injury and it’s affects on people, families, loved ones…it is possible to lose people though they remain alive. And what do we want in these situations? An Advance Decision and Care Plan is free to make and makes a world of difference. Do it here: https://mydecisions.org.uk/
