Last Picture of You

“The ‘send-off’ communicates a lot  about life; what life means to us, what we want, need and how we would like  to be remembered.”

Dates & Events

In honesty, after these were shared, and the deaths with collective punishment of mainly Palestinians, I was angry and sad. I wrote ‘I See Red‘, a poem, that reacted and responded to that and too much more.

It continued as a shared process online in November 2023 and I sent messages to people I had worked with over the years. In the summer of 2024 as the riots took place I asked some people closer to me to speak parts that resonated with them, 19 of us spoke the poem the 6th version including some of my artworks is here.

Versions of the project went to Bermondsey, Newhaven, Peckham, then Brixton with FilmPro in December 2024.
